As I enter into my 13th year here at St. Elizabeth School, I am blessed to be the principal of such an exceptional school. Our doors have opened for the 2017-2018 school year, and over 500 students from preschool through eighth grade are ready for the milestones, challenges, and successes that await them.
A quick walk down the hall reminds me of how much our faculty and staff welcome this back-to-school excitement. I see staff members adding the finishing touches to our Kindness Board - a place where we recognize the small, but so appreciated, good deeds of our students that we witness throughout the year. I observe a group of teachers engaging in curriculum collaboration. I continue to be amazed by our dedicated building services staff as they complete those last-minute touches to ensure that our school is a bright, well-maintained campus. Our entire staff is hard at work preparing for another succesful school year that will surely be marked with growth and learning.
Here at St. Elizabeth’s we place the utmost value on the potential of each of our students, and we work to nurture them in a strong, Catholic faith-based learning environment. Our staff and teachers work tirelessly to address the needs of our student body. Each day, we strive to support our students in their academic, emotional, and spiritual development. And yet, perhaps most importantly, our strong community is what we cherish most. St. E’s is a place where students thrive because of the loving and supportive environment that the students, faculty, staff, and parents consistently affirm. Our school is most definitely an extension of family and a manifestation of our Christian faith.
It is this meaningful and purposeful work of our school that truly inspires me every day, and I thank you for your prayers as we begin another academic year. If you are a current parent, please know how much I appreciate your support, and if you are just beginning to consider St. Elizabeth’s for your child, I welcome your visit and encourage you to explore our website to see all that we have to offer.
Yours in Christ,
